“App not enabled for user” SSO error

Why are my users getting a 403 “app_not_enabled_for_user” error message?

This error indicates that SSO has not been enabled for all members of the organization this user belongs to. To correct this error:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. Go to Apps > SAML Apps.
  3. In the SAML app list, locate the app generating the error.
  4. Click the overflow menu  .
  5. Turn the app ON for everyone or for the user’s organization.
